1. Found weather conditions too bad. Thick cloud and complete darkness make it impossible to see any ground markings. 02:55 Task abadoned. Had been flying in 10/10th cloud. In time, no evidence of improvement. Load RTB. Not reached DZ.
2. 18 C and 2 packages successfully dropped on DZ in SE Norway. Weahter mainly fair with low stratus in the SKAGERAK, but clear in target area. No enemy opposition . Pinpoint reached and identified by ground details in the area. A white reception was in operation-correct letter flashing. Lights were very good and whole layout stood out extreemely well. Load dropped OK in ine run. Courser 350deg, Heigh A/G 600', IAS 140 mph.
