Stirling "W" on SOE operation SADDLE 7, captained ny F/LT Prowse. Lights seen on OTA. Dropped 00:55 hrs, 24 containers and 6 packages. Lights type C arrangement, /"B"
Captain: DR run made from GJERDAL 5819N/0658E) and a good reception seen from about 1/2 mile flashing correct letter "B". Lights were visible on the whole circuit. A/c crossed over lights, circled once to line up and then dropped full load in one run., Only 5 minutes spent over target. Packages ok.
Depatcher: Very good visibility over DZ, 5-10 miles. Lights senn on ETA, visible for 1/2 mile. Circle as light flashed "B" and A/C replied with "K". Dropped one rund. Load dropped slightly starboard of reception - only few houndred yards. Drop was actually to port but wind carried them over.
ATF-1:A/C to continue inland after drop and return to coast by another route.
